At Utah, The Humane Society is announced $5,000 to a reward which was offered for the information which sentenced to arrest a person who is responsible for the shooting & killing of a horse in Roy, Utah.
21-year-old Quarter Horse’s owners have already offered $5,000 reward and Humane Society has been decided to match it and bringing the full reward to $10,000. On Feb 5th owner Gail Larsen has said they have found “Cinnamon” shot in the head in a pasture near the Rocky Mountain Junior High. The Larsen family also said someone was also cut off the horse’s tail 6 months ago.
Gene Baierschmidt who was HSU executive director said they extend sincere condolences to Larsen family for the loss of the beloved horse. They have been contacted by their neighbors who were concerned that the shooting has occurred in a residential area near to a school. They hope the reward offers was an enticement for someone to come forward with an information to condemn the person who is responsible & hold them accountable for this wanton destruction of the life.
